Arlington Flight Services grand opening June 23

ARLINGTON — Arlington Flight Services is celebrating its official grand opening at the Arlington Municipal Airport on Saturday, June 23.

Arlington Flight Services is a new fixed-base operator that supports general and business aviation with a variety of services, including flight training and aircraft rental, maintenance and management. The company has pledged to provide the highest level of service to its customers, as well as memorable experiences in aviation. The employees of AFS look forward to bringing in new aviators and corporate clientele to the Arlington Municipal Airport.

Arlington Flight Services' grand opening runs all day on June 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that Saturday, and is set to be followed the next Saturday with a pancake breakfast from 10 a.m. to noon on June 30. The June 23 grand opening will include introductory flights, building tours and a free barbecue lunch.

AFS has already started offering classes in its eight-week private and sport pilot ground school, which meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. at a cost of $250.
