Haggen seeking clothing donations

SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Marysville and Arlington Haggen Food & Pharmacy locations are currently collecting donations from their Warm Clothes for Kids drive.

The drive began Monday, Jan. 4 and will continue until Friday, Jan. 22.

Organizers are seeking new or gently worn coats, sweaters, hats, scarves, glove and mittens.

Items can be dropped off at Haggen stores in Snohomish County, including locations at Marysville, Arlington, Stanwood and Lake Stevens.

Donations are those four stores will be distributed by Operation School Bell, an Assistance League of Everett program, and Arlington Kids’ Kloset to children throughout Snohomish County.

“These donations will help children stay warm and healthy this winter when they go to school and play outside,” said Becky Skaggs, spokesperson for Haggen.

The Marysville Haggen is located at 3711 88th Street NE, while the Arlington Haggen is located 20115 74th Avenue NE.
