Coastal grand opening attracts a crowd

MARYSVILLE – The new Coastal Farm and Ranch in the old Kmart building on State Avenue had its grand opening ribbon-cutting Wednesday.

City and chamber leaders attended, along with owner Bruce Wheeler, who cut the ribbon.

In a gathering earlier inside the building, Wheeler said Coastal likes to give back to the community. He gave both NOAH, the animal protection organization ,and the Marysville Food Bank checks for $2,000 each.

Coastal, an Albany, OR company, now has 17 stores. It sells pet and livestock supplies, clothes like work wear and footwear and outdoor supplies such as lawn and garden, plus heating and cooling systems, safes, fencing, tools, weapons, automotive and farm supplies.
