SMOKEY POINT — When Domino’s Pizza opens the doors of its latest location in Smokey Point on Friday, Sept. 13, it will donate 100 percent of that branch’s sales for the day to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association to help Lacey Ernst, a 5-year-old Arlington girl in need of a heart transplant.

Arlington Mayor Barbara Tolbert will join Domino’s Pizza representatives in cutting the ribbon to the restaurant at noon that Friday, but activities and prize giveaways will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 13.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk the red pizza sauce carpet, tour the new store and witness pizza-making races between Domino’s crew members, and possibly Tolbert as well. Food and beverages will be available for sampling, and Domino’s gift cards and other prizes will be given away throughout the day.

The new Domino’s Pizza is located at 3704 172nd St. NE in Arlington.
