North County Fire/EMS collects for local food banks

North County Fire/EMS Firefighters, Resilience Fitness and baristas from the Stanwood Starbucks stores worked together this holiday season to help collect food for the Stanwood and Arlington food banks and toys for the Stanwood and Arlington Christmas Houses.

In total they where able to raise approximately 2,500 pounds of food and over 750 new toys to be presented to the local communities said Battalion Chief Christian Davis of North County Fire/EMS. "Everyone was truly touched to see such an outpour of support from the community. It is truly a privilege to be part of such a wonderful community who truly help each other in their time of need<" said Davis. "We would like to thank everyone for stopping by our Starbuck Stores, Fitness Club and our Fire Station drop-off locations it all made a great difference for those who needed the assistance. We would like wish everyone a Happy Holiday and Safe New Year."
