Stilly Senior Center presents emergency preparedness seminar Aug. 14

SMOKEY POINT — The Stillaguamish Senior Center will be hosting a health, wellness and emergency preparedness seminar by the Snohomish County Red Cross and the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m.

Attendees will receive tips on how to be "Safe in the Sound," including how to build an emergency preparedness kit and how to design an emergency preparedness plan, as well as "Flu Facts" presented by the Arlington Pharmacy.

Emergency preparedness kit bags will be provided, as will snacks and prizes, in the main hall of the Stillaguamish Senior Center, located at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd. in Arlington.
