ARLINGTON — If winning a stockpile of Silvana Meats sounds appealing, the Old Bags of Arlington have you covered.
The non-profit philanthropy club is holding a Box-O-Meat raffle on Oct. 18, and tickets are now available for $1 each.
The winner will take home $126 — approximately 45 lbs. — worth of meats from the local company. Lean ground beef patties, extra lean ground chuck, boneless pork loin roasts, as well as boneless chuck and top sirloin steaks will be part of the package.
"It's a big box-o-meat," said member Pat Hollister. "It's got all kinds of good stuff in it."
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit local children and families.
The raffle will take place Oct. 18.
The Old Bags of Arlington Women's Club has served the Arlington and Stanwood communities since 1986. The club has helped provide funding for Kids Kloset, Village Community Services and other local organizations in the past.
Tickets can be purchased from the Old Bags throughout Arlington, or by contacting Pat Hollister at 425-493-4354.
