Local scouts seeking donations

ARLINGTON — Cub Scout Pack 92 is currently collecting goods for two organizations.

The Arlington-based group is currently collecting new or gently used children’s clothing, including coats, hats, mittens and scarves to donate to Kids Kloset.

Cub Scout Pack 92 is also collecting food to donate to the Arlington Food Bank as part of its “Scouting for Food” program.

Cub scouts will be on hand at the Arlington Safeway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 19-20 to collect food.

On Oct. 3 and Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the scouts will be at both Safeway and the Arlington Haggen Food & Pharmacy doing their annual popcorn fundraiser.

The Cub Scouts will also be selling popcorn on Oct. 4 and Oct. 11 from noon to 4 p.m. Safeway and Haggen.
