ARLINGTON — Three students recently graduated from Academy Northwest’s Arlington extension program.

Jason Pusateri, Chonte’ Hamilton and Ryan Lockman, under the guidance of their teacher consultant Nola Smith, earned their degrees on June 6.

The students are among 98 graduates from the program, which offers a combination of homeschool and certified teaching.

More than $1.5 million in scholarships have been awarded to Academy Northwest’s Class of 2010, Smith said.

Pacific Learning Solutions was established in 1986 by Smith and has grown to include about 15 full- and part-time staff who take part in teaching, tutoring, mentoring and other responsibilities.

Pacific Learning Solutions is located at 314 N. Olympic Avenue, Arlington.
