If you are gathering with family or friends this Fourth of July here is a dish that can come along! Its been a favorite of our backyard parties and barbecues.
Picnic Pie
8 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 Tbsp. sunflower seeds
1 Tbsp. bacon bits
1tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
Pepper to taste
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 baked 9-inch pie shell, chilled
1/2 cup shredded Colby or Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced black olives
Combine first 8 ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Spoon into pie shell. Top with cheese and olives.
