Lavender Hills Farm is featured in this painting by Cathy Clark, a member of a plein air painting group that has used the farm for their outdoor painting parties in past years. The image is featured on the poster for the Lavender Hills Farm Festival which welcomes visitors to walk through the fragrant fields and pick fresh lavender bouquets at its annual festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 12. The festival includes music by Teruyo Koshimiya playing the harp from 10 a.m. to noon and The Tales of Tir Nan Og, which features high school-aged musicians playing traditional Celtic and some blue grass from noon to 3 p.m. There will also be vendors with arts and crafts and demonstrations, and food, special for the day, such as lavender ice cream and more.
