Russian realism in Le Nu Air in La Conner

An Arlington artist, Aleks Kargopoltsev, who runs a studio/gallery in La Conner, is participating in the first "Le Nu Air" art exhibit which opens Friday, August 15 with a public artist reception from 4 - 7 p.m., at

La Conner SeaSide Gallery, 112 Morris St., in downtown La Conner.

The exhibit focuses on the figurative and life drawing works of artists Mark Bistranin, Margaret Carpenter-Arnett, J. Whistler-Conrad, Don Haggerty, Don Henle, Chris Hopkins, Tom Jensen, Shannon Kirby, Alek Kargopoltsev, Rachel Muller, Dave Nichols, Tom Pickett, John Robbins, and Stan Ross.

The exhibit runs the weekends of Aug. 15 and 22.
