ARLINGTON — An art auction slated to raise funds for a city sign project will be taking place later this month.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Arlington Arts Council will be holding its sixth annual Fall into Art Auction at Medallion Hotel in Arlington.
The auction starts at 5:30 p.m. at the hotel, located at 16710 Smokey Point Blvd.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit a council project that would erect large entry signs near city entrances.
Music will be provided by Brighter Days Jazz Trio, and guests will be able to enter a raffle drawing for prizes such as gift certificates and theater tickets.
Tickets are available for $30 at Flowers By George (335 N. Olympic Ave.) in downtown Arlington, and at Brushstrokes Art Supply in Smokey Point (3704 172nd St. NE).
Tickets can also be purchased by calling Jean Olson at 360-435-5866.
