ARLINGTON — The Fifth Avenue Musical Awards nominations have been released, and Arlington High School Drama stole the show, receiving a record four nominations and five honorable mentions for their spring musical "Legally Blonde," which received awards in all three production areas of music, performance and technical work associated with a musical.
Lakewood High School’s annual spring play reached a new audience this year as its run of “Little Women,” adapted from the Louisa May Alcott novel, began with a free showing for area senior citizens.
After scrambling to complete their entry before winter break, Arlington High School not only got to watch the fruits of its labors on April 24, but also got to see its team take first place in this year’s WESCO Lip-Dub competition, that was judged that evening at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center.
