The people using the Washington State Ferry System want all of us taxpayers in Washington to “pay their way” to their homes on the islands which they chose to live on. They moved there by their own choice for their privacy.

Why should the people in Omak, Arlington, Republic, Davenport, Richland, etc., Have to pay for something they probably have never seen or will probably never ride on.

Let’s audit each of the ferry routes and raise the rates to cover the actual cost to operate them. The people made their choice, let them pay or move to the mainland.
