2 M-P students get community service awards

MARYSVILLE – The Rotary Club presented Brandon Randall and Victoria Wilde of Marysville-Pilchuck High School with the December Community Service Recognition Award Dec. 11. Randall is senior taking AP English, AP Chemistry and Pre-Calculus.

He is the physical strength team commander and participates on both Armed and Unarmed competitive drill teams for JROTC. His GPA is 3.58, and he is focused on earning entry into a military academy. He has completed 20 hours of community service in the past month, putting his year total at 175 hours. Wilde is a freshman with a GPA of 3.86. She is active in band, freshmen leadership, color guard, unarmed drill team, Arlington Youth Council and JV basketball.

In the past month, she has completed 36 hours of community service, bringing her total hours this year to 65. Sponsor Les Schwab provides a $100 check to each winner.
