MARYSVILLE – The Marysville Rotary Club’s Community Service Award for December goes to two seniors at Marysville Getchell.

Tina Do has a grade point average above 3.9 and is a member of the school’s Key Club, which does various community service projects around town year-round.

She helps others grow their leadership skills and also volunteers at her church. Kiarra Green has a 3.96 gpa and volunteers at the Marysville YMCA. She also helps other students and is involved with her church group. Her goal is to become a pediatric surgeon and to join a group such as Doctors Without Borders and help low-income families. Both receive $100 from sponsor Les Schwab in Marysville.
