Woman from Marysville part of Fleet Week

SAN DIEGO – Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Kimberly Herbert of Marysville conducts a public ship tour on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry during San Diego Fleet Week. SDFW is an opportunity for the public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services.

During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Diego and its surrounding areas.
