ARLINGTON — Members of the Arlington High School bands will be holding a free Car Wash-a-thon from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.

The car wash will take place in front of the high school gymnasium, located at 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd.

Students are collecting pledges for the total number of cars that they wash, up to a maximum of 150 cars.

Although the event is free, donations will be accepted.

Individual car wash stations will be set up in front of the gym. Additionally, an environmentally friendly station that features waterless car wash products will be offered thanks to sponsor Chris Jones of CJ's Mobile Wash and Wax.

The fundraiser pays for new band instruments and travel expenses.
