ARLINGTON — Magic, music and more will be set center stage at the Linda M. Byrnes Performing Arts Center Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.

A variety show to raise money for public art in Arlington will feature Mark Robinson, a magician and comedian who's opened for Jeff Foxworthy and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel. Also performing that afternoon at the PAC will be Pieces of Eight, a barbershop quartet, and the Hard Road Band, a slice of northwest country music presented by Lem Pratt and friends.

Tickets are available for $17, with fees included, at www.byrnesperformingarts.org or Flowers By George.

"It's good family fun, with a huge surprise for one attendee that people will be talking about for months," said city of Arlington Recreation Coordinator Sarah Higgins. "This is the event of the year. Bring your family, friends, grandkids, spouses or anyone you know who needs a good laugh."

This event is sponsored by the Arlington Arts Council.
