Arlington resident Judy Claxton received a gift certificate for a collection of meats from Silvana Meats valued at $126 during the women’s club’s first Meat Raffle on Sunday, Oct. 18.

More than 1,300 $1 raffle tickets were sold leading up to the raffle.

Claxton is the Chairperson for the Toys for Kids drive, organized by the American Legion Post 76 in Arlington.

Claxton received a gift certificate for the meats from Etta (Babe) Melhart, President of the women’s group.
