ARLINGTON Kyle Emery and Steven White were recently named the latest Eagle Scouts of Arlington Boys Scouts of America Troop 92, while White's family was also named "Scouting Family of the Year" by Troop 92.

ARLINGTON Pilot training and military discipline were among the benefits that the Walsh family, Wes Bailey and other area youths and families were looking for when they visited the community open house of the Arlington Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, at Weston High School March 20.
Island Crossing heads to state Supreme Court The Washington State Supreme Court is seeking to schedule oral arguments for its review of the case between the end of May and the end of June this year.
Representatives for Futurewise, the Stillaguamish Flood Control District and the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development all petitioned the state Supreme Court to review the case last year. This came after the state Court of Appeals ordered to deny motions for reconsideration of its previous ruling, in favor of allowing the development of 110 acres of largely unused farmland bordered by Interstate 5 and Smokey Point Boulevard, northwest of Arlington.

ARLINGTON Mothers from Arlington, Stanwood and Camano Island descended upon Terrace Park April 3, to help fix up the place that a number of them visit with their children.More than half a dozen members of the local chapter of the MOMS Club helped Chris Fox, a senior maintenance worker with the city of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, pick up litter and weed out the landscaped beds of Terrace Park.
Among the areas that the moms and their kids worked on were the 12-foot by 8-foot sign bed at the entrance to the park, the 20-foot by 5-foot bed near the bathrooms, and the 30-foot by 8-foot bed that runs along the park's eastern fence.
Arlington, M'ville police work as waiters for Special OlympicsArlington, Marysville and Lake Stevens police are teaming up to serve drinks and bus tables at the Marysville Red Robin, April 12, as part of the annual "Tip-a-Cop" event, which raises funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, benefiting Special Olympics athletes in the local community.
From noon to 8 p.m., approximately half a dozen officers from each city's department will be working as "celebrity waiters" at the Red Robin, located at 16814 Twin Lakes Ave., and they'll have their police vehicles and equipment out on display.

She has been a member of FFA and is an eight-year member of 4-H having dairy and beef projects where she won awards for showing her animals at local fairs. She worked at a local dairy as a "chore girl" and currently has a position on a 125-cow Holstein herd as a milker as well as caring for her own Jersey cow and four Holstein steers.
