Dr. Yelena Rosenberg, who recently completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, will provide general cardiology to patients at Skagit Regional Clinics' existing office and expand the clinics' services into Arlington starting Sept. 15.

Accidental Deception Pass fall kills Arlington man
Oct 14 2010, 9:05 AM A 47-year-old man died at Deception Pass in what appears to be an accidental fall near the Fidalgo Island side of the bridge sometime between Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Arlington resident Arthur Dunphy fell from the cliff near the pulloff located north of the Deception Pass Bridge, said Park Ranger Jack Hartt.

Before their meeting at the Arlington Boys & Girls Club, the athletic directors and other volunteers from several Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the county took to the Arlington soccer field to re-lay the grass and sod that had been ripped up when one or more joyriders broke into a van at the Arlington club and tore the neighboring athletic fields apart with their tires.

"I was shocked that they used the van to do it," said Kyle Engel of the Mukilteo club, after he'd tamped down clods of soil where they'd previously laid.
