Arlington auctioning off surplus computer equipment

ARLINGTON — The city of Arlington is accepting sealed bids for its surplus computer equipment.

A variety of computers, including desktops and laptops, will be available for bid until Aug. 31. The computers and equipment no longer meet the demands of the city, but are in good condition and useable in less demanding situation, city officials said.

All desktop computers come with a keyboard and mouse. Computers may be inspected by appointment prior to purchase, but are sold as-is without any warranties.

Starting bids for most equipment is $100.

Interested community members can make an appointment to view the computer equipment by calling 360-403-3456. Sealed bids can be made at the city finance department, located at City Hall, 238 N. Olympic Avenue in downtown Arlington.

Bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. Aug. 31.
