Pedestrian killed on I-5 near Marysville

MARYSVILLE - A man was struck and killed on southbound Interstate 5 near the 88th Street overpass in Marysville on Jan. 18.

According to Trooper Keith Leary, the Washington State Patrol dispatch center began to receive calls at about 6:57 p.m. to report the accident. He added that several witnesses said the pedestrian may have been between the right lane and center lane prior to being hit and that he may have been hit by several vehicles.

If anyone believes they hit the pedestrian or saw anything on I-5 in this area, they are being asked to call WSP detectives at 350-654-1200.
