All northbound lanes of I-5 near Arlington reopened

As of 12:11 p.m. on Jan. 21, all northbound lanes of I-5 near Arlington have been reopened after being blocked by a multi-car crash more than an hour before.

A collision between six vehicles, one of which was a semi-trailer truck, occurred at mile post 208 near the Stillaguamish River at approximately 11:01 a.m.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary, no serious injuries resulted from the accident, which appeared to have been caused when one vehicle stopped in the road and set off a chain reaction.
