Woman injured in head-on collision near Arlington

ARLINGTON — A woman in her mid-50s suffered life-threatening injuries when she was involved in a head-on collision in the 14300 block of Jordon Road at approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15. The injured woman was airlifted to Harborview.

According to Rebecca Hoover, director of communications for the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, the collision involved a Subaru wagon and a Ford Explorer. The injured woman was driving the Subaru. The driver of the Explorer, a 21-year-old man who also lives in that area, was not seriously injured and was not transported.

Collision detectives are investigating the crash. No citations have been issued thus far.
