Washington State Patrol seeks additional witnesses to accident on SR 530

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision which resulted in two fatalities that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at about 10:30 a.m., and is seeking additional witnessess to the accident.
The collision occurred on State Route 530 at the east intersection of Oso Loop Road, milepost 34. John H. Jones, age 60, and Dakota Robertson, age 12, both of Concrete, died in the collision. Jones was driving his light blue Toyota pick-up truck westbound when it collided with an eastbound dark blue Ford F-350 pick-up truck. Both vehicles came to rest blocking the eastbound lane.
State Patrol investigators have learned that another vehicle was traveling eastbound in the area just before the collision. Investigators would like to interview the driver of that vehicle, as well as any other witnesses that may have seen the collision or any event leading up to or following the crash.
