Lakewood School District levies passing

LAKEWOOD - Voters in the Lakewood School District are approving two levies which appeared on the April 17 Special Election ballot.
Unofficial results released at 8:01 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, show Proposition One, the replacement school programs and operations levy, has 1,363, or 56.46 percent, Yes votes and 1,051, or 43.54 percent, No votes.
Proposition Two, the capital projects and technology levy received 1,276, or 52.97 percent, Yes votes and 1,133, or 47.03 percent, No votes.
Both measures require a simple majority to pass.
Snohomish County Elections will update voting result at 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 18.
