Arlington Police arrest suspect in last year's armed robbery of local pizza store

ARLINGTON – On Thursday, May 10, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Arlington Police Detectives arrested a 24-year-old Lynnwood man for the Jan. 27, 2011, armed robbery of the Domino's Pizza located in the 3100 block of Smokey Point Drive.

The man, who is a former Arlington area resident, was arrested after distinct clothing evidence collected near the crime scene was linked to him by DNA evidence processed by the Marysville Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory.

The suspect was booked into Snohomish County Jail on one count of robbery in the first degree, which is a Class A Felony, punishable by a term of life imprisonment, or by a fine in an amount of $50,000, or by both such confinement and fine.
