Arlington Police seeking person of interest in suspicious death

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest in a suspicious death that occurred on Saturday, June 30.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. that day, Arlington Police and Fire personnel responded to a parking lot in the 16800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard for a report of a man down. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the man, 48-year-old Martin E. Pickett, was deceased. Pickett was a transient who frequented areas in and around Everett.

Arlington Police are seeking to speak with 52-year-old Nial G. Harris, who is believed to be one of the last people to see Pickett on the night of his death. Harris is also a transient who is known to frequent areas in and around Everett.

Harris is described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, and having grayish brown hair and hazel eyes. If you know the location of Harris or encounter him, police request that you call 911 or the Arlington Police Department tip line at 360-403-3420. Callers can remain anonymous.
