Sex offender alert issued for Arlington resident

ARLINGTON — The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 3 sex offender alert for 29-year-old Jesse Patrick Miller, who lives in the 15500 block of Jordan Road in Arlington.
On Nov. 30, 2006, Miller was convicted of possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. During the investigation of his computer system, more than 200 images were located.
His 30-day term in jail is his only criminal conviction, but in July of this year, the Arlington Police Department contacted Miller after receiving a report of a suspicious man at a park taking pictures. Miller told officers that he desired 14-year-old and admitted to photographing children in parks from Arlington to Anacortes. When asked why he would photograph children, he stated that it's better than contacting them.
Due to his actions, law enforcement believe that Miller is now a high-risk offender. He has since been served with a no-trespass letter against children and is now excluded from all county parks.
