ARLINGTON — As of approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, city of Arlington emergency personnel had responded to a head-on two-car crash on Highway 9 near the Crown Ridge Boulevard intersection.

"We have multiple injuries and have requested airlift," Arlington Assistant City Administrator Kristin Banfield said. "Avoid the area if at all possible."

The crash has blocked both lanes, but Banfield was not sure whether it had occurred inside or outside of the construction zone at Highway 9 and State Route 531.

"All of our available personnel are tending to this call or a collision on Highway 530 at the Cascade District Court," Banfield said.
