Level 3 sex offender alert for Arlington

ARLINGTON — A Level 3 sex offender alert has been issued for Mark Allen Kolberg of Arlington.
Kolberg, whose aliases include Mark Allen Henry and Mark Allen Koberg, is a 34-year-old Caucasian man with brown hair and blue eyes who stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and resides in the 15200 block of Jordan Road in Arlington.
According to official documents, Kolberg pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on Dec. 4, 2001, to a single count of indecent liberties with forcible compulsion, for which he was convicted on Jan. 25, 2002, and sentenced to 60 months in prison.
This conviction was the result of Kolberg sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman after he entered her bedroom while she was sleeping. Kolberg was attending a party at the victim's residence, and the victim knew Kolberg casually as a friend of a family member.
Kolberg completed the sex offender treatment program while in prison, but his progress was limited. He will be on active supervision with the Marysville office of the state Department of Corrections, and living under a number of probation conditions.
