EPA lifts burn ban for Indian reservations west of the Cascades

SEATTLE — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has lifted the burn ban on outdoor burning for Indian reservations west of the Cascade Mountains.

The burn ban has been lifted for the following reservations:

  • Stillaguamish Reservation
  • Tulalip Reservation
  • Muckleshoot Reservation
  • Nisqually Reservation
  • Puyallup Reservation

Please call 1-800-424-4EPA and ask for the FARR Hotline or visit the Federal Air Rules for Reservations (FARR) website for the current burn status at www.epa.gov/r10earth/FARR.htm.
