Another suspect arrested in connection with March 25 shooting

On Tuesday, April 2, the Los Angeles Police Department contacted Mount Vernon Police detectives, stating they had detained a man believed to be connected to the March 25 shooting on Anderson Road, whose victim was a Marysville man whose body was found in Arlington.

Two Mount Vernon Police detectives flew to Los Angeles late that evening to confirm the identity and investigate further. A 54-year-old Mount Vernon man is being held in California on Washington charges for manslaughter in the second degree. The suspect will be brought back to Washington state once a court extradition process, which is required when a person is held in one state on charges from another state, is completed.

Detectives do believe they've identified those involved or connected to this incident, but due to the continuing investigation, additional information is not being released at this time.
