Firefighters put out Arlington garage fire

ARLINGTON — Arlington firefighters responded to a fire on Thursday, Aug. 8, in the 15700 block of 67th Avenue NE, that destroyed a detached garage.

The first crew to arrive noted that the garage was fully involved and the grass field around the structure was also burning.

Crews quickly doused the fire and were able to keep the home on the property from also burning.

The estimated loss is approximately $5,000.

Snohomish County Fire District 19 of Silvana assisted in the call.

The cause of the fire is not currently available.
