Carey wins Old Bags' Reno Raffle

Sherry Cox, president of the Old Bags of Arlington Woman’s Club, presents $400 to Jay Carey, the winner of the club’s annual Reno Raffle. The winner has the option to take the cash or a trip to Reno. The club holds several fundraisers through the year, including a famous bakesale at the Downtown Arlington Business Association May and October Hunts. All proceeds go to help needy children and families. Membership in the club is open to women 39 years and older. Business meetings are held at neoon on the first Friday of each month at the American Legion Hall at 115 N. Olympic Ave. in Arlington.
