Airport trail route changed by landfill cap

ARLINGTON A portion of the Arlington Airport trail on the northeast side of the airport is closed as the city begins the latest phase of its landfill capping project.

A temporary trail section has been installed, according to city officials.

The city anticipates having the temporary trail section in place until sometime in September at which point they should be ready to install the new permanent trail section.
