ARLINGTON In conjunction with the National Association of Town Watch, the city of Arlington Police Department is taking part in the National Night Out, Aug. 5 from 6-8 p.m., at the Arlington Police Station.

Attendees will be able to meet with police officers, try out "DUI goggles," see newly minted Arlington Police K-9 "Annie" and check out the community emergency management "Map Your Neighborhood" program.

The Arlington Fire Department will also be on hand, along with Support 46. You can learn about Operation Life Safer and get your child's car seat inspected by a Safe Kids technician.
