Swags raise money for dictionaries
Arlington Kiwanis Club member Sherri Phelps presents dictionaries to John Smith and Lilly Whitehead, students at Cougar Creek Elementary School in Lakewood. The Kiwanis Club has been partnering with the Friends of the Arlington Library for five years to give dictionaries to all third graders in Arlington and Lakewood. The dictionary project is made possible through the sale of swags for the holiday season and those swags are now available from any Kiwanis Club member and at Flowers by George, at 335 N. Olympic Ave. in downtown Arlington. For information call 360-435-8573.
