ARLINGTON A headon collision at the 7100 block of 172nd Street
(SR 531) near the south entrance of Gleneagle, was caused when westbound driver, Terri Martin-Schur, of Arlington, allegedly crossed the centerline to collide with Carol Cornett, from Lake Stevens.
Both drivers were treated and released for minor injuries.
Martin-Schur was sent to Cascade Valley Hospital where blood tests indicated she was driving under the influence and Cornett was sent to Providence Hospital on Colby.
Martin-Schur was cited with DUI, according to Val Copeland, of Arlington Police Department.
The road was closed for a couple of hours because there are no shoulders on the road there, said Kristin Banfield, assistant city administrator.
