ACS places third in district science fair

From left, Craylise Jacobsen, fifth-grade; Martin Boyl-Davis, eighth-grade; Josh Lorenzen, ninth-grade; Hannah Lobban, 12th-grade; Erin Lorenzen, ninth-grade; Michael Sweeney, 11th-grade; Monica Sykes, eighth-grade; and Crissie MacNeill, sixth-grade, of Arlington Christian School, placed third in a district competition when eight students from fifth through 12th grades represented Arlington Christian School at the Association of Christian Schools International District Science Fair. The district includes all western Washington member schools, west of the Cascades. The annual event was held Friday, April 25 at Fairview Christian School in Seattle. Of the eight Arlington Christian School entries, five brought home superior ribbons, the highest award possible, for their science projects. Arlington Christian School is now enrolling for fall, which will be the schools 35th year of service. For information call the school office at 360-652-2988.
