After a year and a half sharing the downtown Arlington Edward Jones office with John Meno and Kathy Burkholder, Heather Hafner has moved into her own fancy, new 1,300 square-foot Edward Jones office in the Prairie Creek Development, a.k.a. the Haggen complex, south of 204th Street and west of SR 9.
She is assisted by Kris Johnson, branch office administrator, at 20265 74th St., suite No. 107. Formerly employed at the EverTrust Bank before it was acquired by Key Bank, Hafner said that many beginning Edward Jones reps work out of their homes, but she appreciated working with Meno and Burkholder.
I have really enjoyed working with John these past months, Hafner said.
It has been a tremendous opportunity to increase my investment knowledge and hone my customer service skills. I cant thank John enough for all he has done for me.
Meno said Hafner joined his office to help him provide a level of service expected from Edward Jones and to expand his services to additional investors.
Im going to enjoy watching her build a successful business of her own, Meno said.
Meanwhile Meno and his senior branch office administrator Burkholder have each accepted a limited partnership in The Jones Financial Co., the holding company for the St. Louis-based financial-services firm.
I am honored to be offered this limited partnership, Meno said. Meno has operated the downtown Arlington office for nine years. A former Arlington Chamber of Commerce president, Meno is a commissioner for Cascade Valley Hospital and is active with the Rotary Club of Arlington.
A native of Vancouver, Wash., Burkholder joined Edward Jones in 1998.
Ive always enjoyed my job. Its both challenging and rewarding but now being invited to become an owner in the company is really exciting.
Hafner joins 10,000-plus investment representatives offering financial planning for personal goals from college savings to retirement to 7 million clients.
Edward Jones provides financial serves for individual investors in the United States and through affiliates in Canada and the United Kingdom.
This is the third Edward Jones office in Arlington, along with Warren Phillips office in Smokey Point.
