Attempted child luring near Pioneer Elementary

ARLINGTON Arlington police are investigating an adult mans attempt to persuade three 9-year-old children to go with him for dinner.
The attempted luring occurred in the 18700 block of Champions Drive near Pioneer Elementary School, Jan. 31, at approximately 3:50 p.m.
The man approached the children as they were walking home and asked them if they wanted to go dinner with them, speaking to them in both English and Spanish.
The subject was described as a Hispanic adult man in his late 20s to early 30s, with a mustache and a scar between his eyes. His vehicle was described as a dark blue, newer model mini-van.
The Arlington School District has sent information home with students.
