ARLINGTON The new owners of Arlington Thai Cuisine want the customers of the former Oui Thai Food to know that theyll still be getting authentic, well-made Thai food.
Its Jan Ginetanas first time owning her own business, but shes built up 17 years of cooking experience at other restaurants, and she was glad when she finally had enough time and money to strike out on her own.
We serve good-tasting dishes, said Ginetana, who comes from Lynnwood. Some places Thai food tastes more Chinese, but ours is very Thai.
Although Ginetana only took over last month, she said that some meals have already become favorites with her customers.
The salad, you can get sour or spicy, Ginetana said. The garlic chicken is very tasty, and people love the ramen chicken and the peanut sauce. We have chicken saute and red curry, and at first, people said, Oh, I dont know. I prefer green curry. As soon as they tried the red curry, though, they liked it. We have green curry now, too.
Ginetana hopes to have a wine and beer list ready soon.
