Arlington police arrest two in assault with a weapon

ARLINGTON On Nov. 6, Arlington police arrested a 48-year old man and his 21-year old son for an assault with a claw hammer on a 22-year old man.
Arlington police responded to an initial 9-1-1 call at approximately 5:45 p.m. to a report of an assault with a weapon in progress that occurred in the 20500 block of Olympic Place. Upon arrival, police located a 22-year old Arlington man bleeding from a head wound, other facial cuts and broken teeth.
The victim was transported by the Arlington Fire Department to Cascade Valley Hospital for further treatment.
The two suspects were arrested at their residence a short time after the incident for assault in the second degree. Officers learned the assault was likely the continuation of an ongoing property dispute.
