Students add bench planter

Elizabeth Zylstras fourth- and fifth-grade class at Cougar Creek Elementary School recently completed a planter bench as part of a backyard habitat partially funded by a local grange for agricultural projects. This habitat is meant to give students a place to sit and visit or work on projects so there are benches, a table, and planters where we put transplant growing projects from our science investigations, Zylstra said.
