SARAH ARNEY The Arlington Times
A kiosk for information about downtown Arlington has been installed near City Hall thanks to the efforts of the Downtown Arlington Business Association which paid for the weather-proof bulletin board as a portion of its lodging tax grant from the city of Arlington. The grant was also used to advertise DABA events across the state of Washington and to create a brochure on the many activities in the historical downtown area. DABA is seeking candidates to hold officer positions to help plan events that raise money for more events that attract visitors into town. Elections will be held Dec. 3. DABA meets 8 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays at The Quiltmakers Shoppe, 315 N. Olympic Ave. For information call 360-403-8334.
