Kent Prairie Elementary School first-grade featured on KVI Friday a.m.

Mrs. Ruth Janasz-Bishop's 1st-grade class at Kent Prairie Elementary School has been named Class of the Week in the KVI AM 570 Pledge Friday program.

The class's presentation of the Pledge of Allegiance will be broadcast on KVI at 11 a.m. Dec. 19. The class was nominated by parent/volunteer Katherine Baugh by submitting to KVI an audio of the class reciting The Pledge of Allegiance.

KVI’s Kirby & Company will announce this week's winners and play the audio during their morning show at 7:30 a.m. and KVI will make a visit to the Kent Prairie Elementary School in Arlington, too.

Each student will receive a goody bag full of prizes from New York Cupcakes, Bartell Drugs, All the Kings Flags, and AM 570 KVI!

The school will receive a plaque from and a framed copy of The Pledge of Allegiance from Museum Quality Framing.

“Pledge Friday Class of the Week” is a twelve-week program that enables the Northwest community to recognize the schools, teachers and classes who know the importance of teaching their children the heritage of the United States and the significance of liberty and justice for all by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
